Hunter
The Birthday Boy
Turning 33 and dragging six people into the desert about it.
Three nights in the high desert for Hunter's thirty-third. Six friends, one villa, and the kind of long weekend the group chat will reference for years.

The Kassita. Five acres outside Landers, neighbors visible only in the distance. Plaster walls, white oak, terracotta, saltwater pool. Built for slow mornings and long evenings.
Three bedrooms, three baths, sleeps eight. Primary king with soaking tub and outdoor shower; second king with private patio; a queen with ensuite; and a cinema room with an oversized sofa for whoever drew the short straw.
A Mykonos-inspired saltwater pool. An in-ground hot tub. A built-in propane firepit ringed with seating. Sculptural outdoor fireplace. Overhead heaters for when the desert gets honest. Shaded dining, propane BBQ, Sonos through the patio and pool.
Host says: "evening reveals its magic."
The shape of the weekend. Specifics still cooking. Reply in the group chat with vetoes, additions, or strong opinions.
High desert: hot days, cold nights, no humidity, no chain stores. First draft below — living document.
